The Inn at Manzanillo Bay

From the airport:

The only road from the Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo International Airport leads directly to the Highway - Mex. 200. At the Highway, turn left and head North. First, you will pass through Zihuatanejo then climb the hill overlooking Ixtapa. Continue Northerly through several small towns for about 16 miles (26 kilometers). The Troncones turnoff is marked by signs on both sides of the Highway. Turn left and take the short drive to the beach, then turn right and follow the signs to the Inn at Manzanillo Bay.

Rental cars are available at the Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo International Airport from the major agencies such as Hertz, Avis, Budget, and Alamo

Taxicabs within and between Troncones, Ixtapa / Zihuatanejo and the International Airport are convenient and comfortable. All taxi drivers are familiar with the Inn at Manzanillo Bay. Busses are a bit slower, but a great way to participate in local culture.
